Both models are equipped with Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processors up to 275HX with NPU for accelerated AI performance, and up to the next generation of NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5090 notebook GPUs, embodying the latest NVIDIA DLSS advances. The Helios 16 AI can accommodate up to 64 GB of memory and up to 4 TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage, while the Helios 18 AI supports a configuration of up to 192 GB of memory and 6 TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage. On the cooling side, Predator Helios benefit from notable advances thanks to the 6th generation of AeroBlade™ 3D metal fans – with blades measuring just 0.05 mm, the thinnest in the world[1] – which offer up to 20%[2] more airflow than plastic blades. Liquid metal-based thermal paste and “vector” heat pipes also help maintain optimal temperatures.
Helios also boast ultra-high-performance panels, ideal for displaying games and films with unrivalled sharpness. The Helios 16 AI boasts a WQXGA (2560×1600) OLED screen with a fast 240 Hz refresh rate, while the Helios 18 AI features a WQXGA 4K Mini LED panel at 120 Hz, capable of 1000 nits brightness. It also introduces a novel “Dual-Mode” mode, enabling easy switching to Full HD at 240 Hz via the PredatorSense[3] app, for even greater flexibility.
