The balance of the Sacred Kingdoms of Keidas has been threatened since powerful and ferocious creatures called « Specters » crossed the Veil to invade them. The Specters corrupt their victims and can even take over their bodies, turning them into vile and merciless creatures that relentlessly hunt the living. The Chimera, hybrid warriors born from the union of two souls, are the only ones who can protect humanity.
Briar and Lute are two sisters reincarnated as Chimera. The transformation has given Briar superhuman strength and resistance, while Lute, sacrificed to unite her soul with that of her sister, has become a shadow with mystical powers. Briar and Lute are tasked with liberating a ruined city, but the plans of the Order to which they belong turn out to be far more complex.
