Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be released on October 14, 2022

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. today announced that DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS will be released on October 14, 2022. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and will be compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Physical pre-orders on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch are now available at participating retailers. Digital pre-orders will be available at a later date. DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS will be available in three different editions:

  • The Standard Edition will be available for download only and will contain the game as well as the « C-18 Transphere » with the « Wall Kick » skill and the « Detector (Blue) » accessory
  • The Special Edition will be available in both physical and digital versions, and will contain the game as well as the Special Edition Pack with a customizable costume, the « Two-Handed Bravo » Victory Pose and the « Dragon (Yellow) » vehicle skin. Those who pre-order this edition will also have access to the « C-18 Transphere » and the « Detector (Blue). »
  • The Limited Edition will be available exclusively on the Bandai Namco Store. In addition to the Special Edition content, the Limited Edition will have a Steelbook, three Villain stickers, the Cell Carapace figure and the in-game accessory « Potala (Green) ». This accessory is an exclusive Bandai Namco Store bonus for a limited time.
Assets
Taking place in the DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE universe, DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS features a team of seven Survivors trying to escape a Villain. The villain, one of the franchise’s major antagonists, will have to use his superpowers and transformations to hunt down and knock out the Survivors. The Survivors are civilians who have fallen into a « Time Stream » and are trapped in a place where time and space are turned upside down. The main objective of the Survivors is to escape the Temporal Flux using various gadgets such as Transpheres, precious items containing the souls of Super Warriors and giving access to special powers and abilities. In this dangerous environment, the Survivors’ hopes are pinned on the Super Time Machine to help them escape the Temporal Flow before their enemy becomes unstoppable. A Closed Network Test will be held on August 6 and 7, and players can sign up here to try and gain access. During this CNT, the newly announced villain Freezer and Cell will be the two playable villains. On the Survivor side, players will be able to choose between the Avatar, Oolong Survivor Skin and Bulma Survivor Skin. The NTC will be available at the following times:

  • Saturday, August 6 – from 04:00 to 08:00
  • Saturday, August 6 – 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, August 6 – 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM
  • Sunday, August 7 – 4:00am to 8:00am

An Open Beta will also take place later.
