The Pokémon Company International announces the release of the new Pokémon CCG expansion, “Scarlet and Violet – Destiny Rivalries”, on May 30, 2025! Discover the return of Team Rocket, Pokémon Trainers with special illustrations, and the associated game mechanics, and collect 83 new Team Rocket cards, Pokémon-ex (including 10 from Trainers), “rare illustration/special rare” cards and “hyper rare” golden cards.
Highlights of “Scarlet and Violet – Destiny Rivalries”:
- Return of Team Rocket: 83 new cards!
- Trainer Pokémon: special illustrations highlighting the Trainer/Pokémon link, with the name of the Trainer. Examples: Luth and Ho-Oh-ex, Cynthia and Carchacrok-ex, or Mewtwo-ex in Giovanni’s grip.
- 17 Pokémon-ex (including 10 from Trainers).
- 23 Pokémon “rare illustration”.
- 11 Pokémon “special rare illustration”.
- 6 “hyper rare” gold textured cards.
