Acer expands its gaming product range with new Nitro notebooks

– Introducing the new Nitro V series notebooks, available in several screen sizes, including 14, 15, 16 and 17 inches, powered by the latest processors.

– The Nitro V 15 gaming laptop features an Intel® Core™ i7 240H processor, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 notebook GPU with NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technology, modern design and enhancements to deliver better gaming and multitasking performance.

Las Vegas, January 6, 2025 – Acer today unveils its new Nitro V series, available in multiple screen sizes, showcasing a powerful range of entry-level gaming laptops designed to make AI-powered gaming more accessible. Ideal for students, content creators and gamers looking for versatile performance, this Nitro V laptop series offers the perfect blend of responsiveness, smooth visuals and ample storage space to meet the demands of constantly evolving AI features and applications.

Available in a range of configurations, the new Nitro laptops cater for a variety of user preferences and styles. What’s more, they come with a free three-month subscription to PC Game Pass. This is aimed at PC gamers, with games available as soon as they are released, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Ara: History Untold, as well as EA Play titles.

Nitro V AI gaming notebooks

The new Nitro V AI laptop series makes its debut with several models to choose from: the Nitro V 17 AI, the Nitro V 16 AI and the Nitro V 14 AI. They are equipped with the brand-new AMD Ryzen™ AI 7 350 processor, based on the new “Zen 5” architecture. They offer smooth local AI capabilities and are optimized for low power consumption, providing excellent autonomy and accelerated responsiveness during gaming or creative sessions. These Copilot PCs are powered by an NPU capable of up to 50 AI TOPS of processing power and enable generative AI experiences, such as Cocreator in Paint. They also feature AI-powered graphics, with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 notebook GPUs[1] featuring the latest NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technologies for realistic virtual scenes with ray tracing, up to 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage space.

The Nitro V 17 AI (ANV17-61) gaming notebook features a 17.3-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display in 16:9 format, with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The Nitro V 16 AI (ANV16-61) offers WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution, up to 180 Hz and 100% sRGB color space support. The Nitro V 14 AI (ANV14-62) offers WQXGA resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and its pearly white finish exceeds traditional designs, making this notebook stand out in a market generally dominated by darker colors.

The new Nitro V 15 AI (ANV15-42) features an AMD™ Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, while the Nitro V 15 (ANV15-52) incorporates an Intel® Core™ i7 240H processor, with dedicated AI acceleration capabilities. Its 15.6-inch FHD (1920×1080) display offers a refresh rate of 180 Hz, a response time of 3 ms, and supports 100% of the sRGB color space.

NitroSense and AI features :

NitroSense lets users take control of computer performance and customizations with ease. They can simply press the NitroSense key to access the Control Center and IA software suite via the new Experience Zone 2.0. Whether on a call or during a live game broadcast, Acer PurifiedVoice uses the power of AI to block out outside noise, while Acer PurifiedView ensures that users remain at the center of the action.
