Blizzard Entertainment is back at gamescom 2024!

The entire Blizzard Entertainment® team is delighted to confirm its participation at this year’s gamescom. This return to Cologne is an opportunity to celebrate the two most anticipated releases of 2024: World of Warcraft® The War Within™ and Diablo IV®: Vessel of Hatred™.

This year’s event promises to be an exciting one, as Blizzard Entertainment will be present alongside other Xbox Game Studios on the Xbox stand, to celebrate upcoming games and meet communities from Europe and around the world.

“We are particularly excited to be showing Warcraft, Diablo and Overwatch to the European gamescom community,” enthuses Johanna Faries, President of Blizzard Entertainment. “It’s wonderful to be able to accompany some of our most talented developers to Cologne to meet gamers and celebrate together the special bond that continues to unite us through our universes.”
World of Warcraft in particular will be celebrating with the launch of The War Within, the first installment in the Soul of the World saga. It’s the perfect opportunity for the entire community to celebrate the worldwide release on August 27, the day after gamescom. Players who have purchased the Epic Edition or the physical Collector’s Edition of The War Within will be able to play from the launch of Early Access on August 23.
The Diablo universe is not to be outdone, as the whole of Sanctuary will descend upon gamescom with Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred.

Last but not least, Overwatch 2 will be present on a special stand alongside Porsche to spotlight their fruitful collaboration, with a life-size statue of D.Va inspired by the brand-new 100% electric Porsche Macan. Fans of the license will also be able to browse a real reproduction of an iconicOverwatch 2 map.
