Get ready for a new season of content with five multiplayer maps and a festive Nuketown variant, seven new weapons, an all-new Zombies map and the full integration of new Black Ops 6 features into Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as a new Resurgence map.

Get ready for Season 01, available on November 14.

MULTIPLAYER OVERVIEW :

Five maps and one variant: Three brand-new maps arrive at the start of Season 01: explore Hideout, a medium-sized training site with a distinctive Black Ops design; fight in Extraction, Avalon’s medium-sized helipad designed for a variety of play styles; and keep an eye out for valuables as you charge into Heirloom, a compact-sized art museum designed for fast-paced action. Expect a new map, the return of Hacienda, and a festive Nuketown later in the season.

Two new game modes and even more mid-season: Hide the gold and protect your stash in the all-new Saccage mode. Treyarch has also thought about fun and fan-favorite modes, including Chameleon mode, so get ready for limited-time festive events at mid-season and beyond. What’s more, classified multiplayer gameplay arrives shortly after launch with a host of rewards, changes and updates.

Additional content: Enhance your tactical planning with a new Trump and Points Series available at launch. A new Trump and a new Joker arrive in the mid-season update, all available in multiplayer.

Teaser Zombies: Expect a full reveal of Zombies content just before the December mid-season update. The end of the year will see the arrival of the new map, Citadel of the Dead, as Zombies go medieval!

Directed mode: The original round-based Zombies experience is back in Call of Duty. As previously announced, a Directed Mode arrives with Season 01, making it easier for players to enjoy the scenario. In this mode, you have 15 rounds to complete the plot, while side quests and S.A.M. challenges are disabled.

Black Ops 6 Ranked Play: The definitive ranked play experience that Treyarch has been working towards since Call of Duty: Vanguard – and since Modern Warfare® II and Modern Warfare III – arrives in Season 01, from November 21. A full summary of the rules will be published in the Black Ops 6 patch notes closer to the launch of the ranked game.
WARZONE OVERVIEW:

Area 99: New Resurgence map: Enter the unforgiving heat of the Nevada desert and explore Area 99, a top-secret weapons station where Nuketowns were built and shipped to test sites. Mothballed for decades, it is reopened to all operators at the launch of Season 01! (Re)discover Urzikstan in its launch version and Rebirth Island some time later, both fully integrating the innovations brought by Black Ops 6.

Modes and features: Start by familiarizing yourself with the game lists before the arrival of ranked Battle Royale mode and a variety of new time-limited modes as the season progresses.

Full Black Ops 6 integration: Launch into battle using the Black Ops 6 equipment system, with a new dedicated melee weapon, three Trumps and a Joker. Experiment with your weapon builds, discover an optimized armory and choose any Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III or Black Ops 6 weapon you’ve acquired – over 170 weapons!

Benefits galore: The Pick-3 Asset system allows you to have three active Assets at the start of the match, and to pick up up to six more in-game. The iconic Specialist Trump is also back!

In-game innovations: From omni-directional gameplay to the use of emoticons and sprays, from simplified inventory and large-scale challenges to the return of a classic progression and prestige system from Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Warzone is hotter than an Area 99 reactor leak.
