Cowboy launches Cross, its first all-terrain model: the new benchmark for comfort and connectivity

Cowboy, the world’s most advanced electric bike manufacturer, today unveils Cross, the brand ‘s very first VTC ( mountain bike ) .Cross represents the pinnacle of connected, intelligent, safe and versatilecycling, capable of carrying cyclists on both city commutes and rural weekend adventures.

Equipped with an inverted front fork and seatpost suspension for riding on city cobbles and rough terrain alike, the Cross also features a new battery with 50% greater capacity. This means fewer charges and a range of up to 120 km. With its integrated rear luggage rack, you can easily carry the week’s groceries. Its wide tires and enhanced ride comfort also allow you to take your surfboard to the sea at the weekend. Cross also introduces advanced software connectivity, focused on the health and well-being of both bike and rider. New LiveChallenges are designed to motivate cyclists to push their limits, guaranteeing even more fun and fitness. Check My Bike allows Cowboy to keep an eye on his bike at all times, and maintain performance at an optimum level.

The bike is available in two versions – open frame or closed frame – both printed with Cowboy’s signature minimalist design. Three new metallic colors, inspired by nature, are introduced for the occasion. Cross is available at an introductory price of €3,499 (recommended retail price €3,999).

The new benchmark in safety for cyclists and their bikes

Cross is equipped with Cowboy’s exclusive Check My Bike diagnostic tool, enhancing its intelligent capabilities. The user can keep an eye on the bike, ensure optimum performance and diagnose when repairs are needed. In this way, Cross enhances cyclists’ safety and peace of mind. To achieve this, Cowboy has integrated state-of-the-art anti-theft Find My Bike technology, as well as Share My Ride and Predictive Al erts, directly accessible in Google Maps navigation with voice guidance.

From city cobblestones to forest trails

Cross features an inverted front suspension fork and telescopic seat suspension, for a smoother, smoother ride over longer distances. High-quality pedals with improved grip further enhance the riding experience. New, wider tires (60 mm), with customized patterns, make for a much more comfortable cycling experience, whatever the terrain. Finally, the integrated rear luggage rack contributes to a total load capacity (rider and cargo) of 140 kg.

50% longer range and much faster recharging

The removable battery, produced in Denmark, has 540 Wh, a 50% increase in capacity compared to the purely urban Cowboy Classic and Cruiser models. This translates into an impressive range, from 60 to 120 km. All this, with a rapid recharge in just three hours.

Simplicity and signature design

Cross boasts an iconic visual silhouette, with a floating top tube and architectural geometry. The new model embodies Cowboy’s signature minimalism, with its gearless design, no visible wires and no visible welds.

Cross is available in three new satin metallic colors, all inspired by nature and the living world: Lava (a cool dark gray), Mushroom (a warm, earthy gray) and Moss (a sophisticated green).
