SEGA® today announced the 2025 release of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, the latest official opus in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, in North America and Europe! The title will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam and the Nintendo Switch family of consoles.

The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a captivating arena combat game developed by CyberConnect2, based on the original Hinokami Chronicles, which has sold over 4 million physical and digital copies worldwide.
The story mode of this sequel will pick up where the previous opus left off, allowing fans to once again take on the role of Kamado Tanjirô. This time, fans will be able to relive many of the thrilling moments of the “Pleasure District”, “Blacksmith Village” and “Pillar Training” arcs.
VS mode is richer than ever, with over 40 playable characters available, including Tokitô Muichirô and Mitsuri Kanroji, two Hashira who bravely battled two superior moons of the Twelve Demonic Moons!
You’ll also find all the characters from the original Hinokami Chronicles game, including the demons that were added in the free post-launch updates, as well as the characters from the Pleasure District arc that were originally part of the first opus’ paid DLC. The nine Hashira, who hold the highest rank in the Demon Slayer Corps, will also be included as playable characters.
