EA and Respawn reveal the perilous dimensional journey DOC will face in the never-before-seen trailer for the new season ofApex Legends, entitled Apex Legends – Cosmic Abyss. After being drawn into the heart of a dimensional rift and suffering severe damage, DOC is rescued at the last moment by Lifeline, who doesn’t hesitate to risk her own life to pull him out of the rift, injuring her arm in the process.

In Apex Legends – Cosmic Abyss, Lifeline gets an original makeover. The emblematic rescuer of the Savage Lands now embodies a new threat on the front line! Lifeline will be able to evolve in the ring, making the most of new abilities based on fully enhanced tactical, passive and ultimate capabilities.
- Tactical – DOC heals all nearby allies and can be assigned to follow an ally once deployed.
- Passive – Lifeline can now cling to DOC to hover in the air for a few seconds.
- Ultimate – Lifeline can launch DOC to activate its 360-degree halo-shield system, which blocks enemy projectiles and heals all Legends inside.
