Electronic Arts Inc (NASDAQ: EA) and Hazelight Studios are proud to unveil Split Fiction, an action-adventure game that pushes the boundaries of cooperation more than ever. The Hazelight Studios team behind the 2021 Game of the Year It Takes Two, which has sold over 20 million copies worldwide, returns with a unique split-screen co-op action-adventure game in which players can oscillate between two universes, one sci-fi and the other fantasy. Armed with a wide range of abilities that change according to the universe, the game’s two heroines Mio and Zoé will have to help each other to recover their creative heritages and discover the power of unexpected friendship.

In Split Fiction, players will discover many of the mechanics and skills typical of science fiction and fantasy. They’ll have to escape the transformation of a sun into a supernova, challenge a monkey to a dance contest, perform ultra-stylish tricks on a hoverboard, battle an evil kitten and ride unusual contraptions, from gravity bikes to sharks. In totally different worlds, surprising challenges await them at every turn.
Meet Mio and Zoé, two screenwriters with very different backgrounds – one specializing in science fiction, the other in fantasy – who find themselves trapped in their own stories after being snatched up by a machine designed to steal their creative ideas. To get from one universe to the other, they’ll have to work together and master a host of skills to free themselves while keeping their memories intact.

Split Fiction will be available on March 6, 2025 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and EA app for €49.99.
