Help Marie Curie revolutionize modern medicine in War Hospital’s X-Ray DLC

War Hospital players can now extend their gaming experience with X-Ray DLC. Already available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, this new content allows players to help the famous Marie Curie repair her medical equipment, while still at the helm of a field hospital during the First World War.

With an emphasis on narrative, the War Hospital X-Ray DLC allows players to take over the management of a field hospital for an additional chapter, representing around 5 hours of gameplay. In the story imagined by Polish studio Brave Lamb, players must help Maria Skłodowska (Marie Curie) gather the resources needed to repair her “Petite Curie”, one of the mobile surgical units she invented. By moving as close as possible to the fighting, she democratized the use of X-ray radiography.

“We decided to include Maria Skłodowska in the game’s plot because it fulfills the essence of War Hospital, which is to save human lives. We’re also proud to be able to include a Polish accent to our game. At the time of the First World War, our country did not exist on the map of Europe. It therefore did not benefit from the influence associated with this phenomenon,” comments Michał Dziwniel, Brave Lamb Studio Director.

About War Hospital :
Halfway between a real-time strategy game and a survival game, War Hospital is a unique management game in which players must make difficult moral choices and progress. Its gameplay involves managing a field hospital, as well as the treatment and convalescence of wounded soldiers during the First World War. Playing as Major Henry Wells, the player takes charge of a British field hospital in a fictional town in northern France. Only playable solo, War Hospital and its Marie Curie DLC are available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, from January 11, 2024.
