In Hi-Fi RUSH, everything moves to the beat, including the combat phases, which are perfectly synchronized with the rhythm of the music, to deliver gameplay that’s not only fun, but also incredibly satisfying. Unlike a traditional rhythm game, it’s not the music that dictates the player’s actions here, so he or she retains complete freedom of movement. Instead, each keystroke on the tempo increases the effect of the techniques used.
Hi-Fi RUSH features Chai, a self-proclaimed rock star in pursuit of an evil techno megacorp that has accidentally fused his heart with an MP3 player, before calling him an “anomaly”… Pursued by a band of diabolical division heads with an army of robots at their command, Chai has no choice but to fight back, in rhythm and with a group of allies who will help him to topple the company’s big bosses.
Featuring licensed tracks from iconic rock bands such as Nine Inch Nails and The Black Keys, Hi-Fi RUSH will be available on PlayStation 5 on March 19, and is already in Xbox Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S and PC, as well as in the Microsoft Store, Steam and on the Epic Games Store.
