Fans will be able to purchase a physical version of the collection this year, in the EMEA region only
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today announced that the PlayStation®4version of “METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1” will be released as a physical edition on March 7, 2024 in the EMEA regions. PlayStation®4players will be able to choose the edition that suits them best for this collection, which has only been available digitally since its launch on October 24.
Overview
The “METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1” compilation brings together “Metal Gear Solid”, “Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty”, “Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater” and more bonus content. Bonus content includes the first title in the METAL GEAR series, a Screenplay Book containing in-game text from each game, and a Master Book detailing the story and characters. Two digital graphic novels are also included in the bonus content of METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1. Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel is a fully dubbed digital comic recounting the events of Metal Gear Solid through animated panels. It is followed by Metal Gear Solid 2: Digital Graphic Novel, which focuses on the story of the sequel.
