Warner Bros. Games and DC today unveiled a new gameplay trailer and roadmap for Season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the third-person action-adventure shooter from Rocksteady Studios.
the first season of post-launch free downloadable content (DLC) will be available on March 28 for all owners of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at no extra cost. Season 1 extends the action beyond the main campaign, as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark are teleported to an Al-Terre-Native invaded by Brainiac, in order to rescue and recruit an alternate reality version of the Joker . This Al-Terre-Native version of DC’s iconic super-villain will be the newest playable character to join Task Force X, bringing his own brand of chaos to the team, as well as a healthy dose of explosives and a rocket umbrella enabling him to soar through the air and glide across the city. What’s more, all Season 1 content will take place in an ever-changing, distorted Al-Terre-Native version of Metropolis, reimagined in the Joker‘s image.
season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will also feature two special episodes, each with new forays and strongholds; new missions and activities; DC supervillain-themed weapons, equipment and cosmetics; battles against Brainiac-version Justice League bosses, and much more.Episode 1: Fear kicks off on March 28 , and will feature weapons and equipment inspired by the Scarecrow’s terrifying toxins and poisons, as well as notorious gear featuring the Mad Hatter, Merlyn and Dr. Psycho.Episode 2: Duality will be available as a mid-season update with a new mission type, Green Lantern-controlled enemies, new Two-Face equipment and weapons, and an arsenal of weapons based on DC supervillains Professor Zoom and Black Manta.
