To meet the expectations of both fan communities, Plarium and Capcom teams worked together to ensure that the most celebrated aspects of RAID: Shadow Legends and Monster Hunter were well represented in the collaboration. As such, the five Champions based on the Monster Hunter franchise feature skills that mirror some of the abilities available when characters equip the same weapons and armor in the Monster Hunter games, creating a combination that will surprise and delight fans of both games. The five Legendary Champions can be collected by players in a variety of ways between January 9, 2024 and March 5, 2024. All players will be able to obtain the Legendary Champion Rathalos the Swordsman through a special loyalty program that simply requires players to log into RAID: Shadow Legends on seven different days during this event, after which this mighty swordsman will be at their command. Players will also be able to obtain the other four Champions at limited-time events running until March 5, 2024. Players will be able to discover various community and in-game activities celebrating this collaboration, as well as trailers explaining how the majestic creatures of the Monster Hunter franchise made their way into the world of Teleria.
