Electronic Arts today unveils the second Deep Dive video for F1® 24 covering the Career mode, which gets its biggest upgrade since 2016. Codemasters has evolved its approach to Driver Career, delivering a single-player experience that reflects the real-world challenges faced by drivers atF1®️. For the first time, players can enter the race for the title in the shoes of the stars of the current F1®️ season, promising F2™ talent, or perpetuate the memory of iconic drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.

The new Career mode builds on the Driver Recognition system, which gives greater weight to every decision made on and off the track. As in the real world, a player’s reputation grows as do the opportunities open to them, with the possibility of taking part in secret meetings to discuss contract terms, receiving offers from other teams and having a more motivated R&D team. This mode also brings a new and unique element thanks to “Accolades”, long-term objectives linked to the sport and to each driver, based on real-world performance. Starting with a customized driver will allow players to start from scratch and earn rewards as they progress, while choosing to embody one of the professional drivers will lead them to take on challenges based on their real-life results.
The two-player Career mode includes all the new features of the single-player mode, and the Career Challenge mode offers a new way to compete and experience F1®️ 24, with scenarios that evolve around the real-life driver and team, identical for all players and determined by player voting.
The next F1®️ 24 video will be released on April 29 and will feature an in-depth look at the gameplay.
