Firesquid and Abbey Games are delighted to announce that Reus 2, the sequel to the acclaimed God-game Reus, is now available on Steam for €24.50. To celebrate the release, players can choose between three bundles: a Reus bundle, the Mighty Creature bundle and a Supporter Edition. A 10% discount will be applied to the game and bundles for one week.

In Reus 2, players control giant god-like creatures with their associated biomes (taiga, rainforest, ocean, etc.), shape planets and manage humanity’s projects at their own pace, with no time limit. Their actions guide and inspire humanity: leaders, inventions, buildings, development choices, etc., all depend on the player’s personality. Players have the opportunity to experiment with virtual civilizations, creating different planets for different human minds, filling the universe with life!

Reus 2 features a strategic planning system and high replayability with diversified ecosystems and organisms. Players will use a combination of 3 giants to terraform a wide variety of biomes and test different combinations of flora, fauna and materials specific to these environments. As they experiment, they’ll discover which combinations create the best synergies for the needs and goals of their inhabitants, leading them to new stages in their existence. The Abbey Games studio is using its long-standing expertise in the God-games genre(Reus, Godhood) to refine this sequel and take the genre to the next level.

The game is currently translated into English, with other languages to follow after release.

Players can now purchase the game on Steam for PC and can choose from three bundles: the Reus bundle, containing Reus and Reus 2; the Mighty Creatures bundle, which includes Reus 2 and The Wandering Village, as well as visuals; and a Supporter Edition including Reus 2, the soundtrack, light-up eyes for the giants (to be seen in-game), emojis, profile photos and wallpapers.
