In Reus 2, players control enormous divine creatures and their associated biomes (taiga, rainforest, ocean, etc.), shaping planets and setting objectives at their own pace, with no time limit. Their actions will guide and inspire humanity: leaders, inventions, buildings, development choices and much more will depend on the nature of the players. As humanity evolves, players will decide to support their aspirations or create challenges for them. If they’re not satisfied with the result, they can always start again with a new humanity.
Reus 2 offers strategic choices and high replayability with diversified ecosystems and organisms. Players can seek to combine giants and different environments to produce unique results, breathing life into planets and shaping the destiny of humanity. The Abbey Games studio is using its long-standing expertise in God-games (Reus, Godhood) to refine this sequel and modernize the genre.
