Unknown9 Awakening plunges us into the shoes of Haroona, a young girl endowed with supernatural powers that she struggles to control. The story promises to be intriguing, with its mystical atmosphere and references to Indian culture. Unfortunately, the script takes a long time to get going and sometimes feels like it’s going round in circles. Too bad, because the background has potential!
Gameplay: Cool powers, but a bit messy 💥
Gameplay revolves around Haroona’s psychic powers, as she can manipulate objects from a distance and sense the emotions of others. It’s pretty cool to swing crates at enemies or solve puzzles using “extrasensory perception”. On the other hand, combat lacks dynamism and precision. It often feels like you’re fighting in the dirt. 😅
Lifespan: A bit short, young man! ⏱️
Allow around ten hours to complete the main adventure. That’s a bit light, especially for a game sold at a premium price. Fortunately, exploration and the search for collectibles can extend the experience a little. But we’re left wanting more… 😕
