At Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Samsung is unveiling the revolutionary possibilities of Galaxy AI[1]. At the Samsung stand, visitors can experience Galaxy AI on various Galaxy products, with the Galaxy S24 series being the highlight. The Galaxy Book4 series and the new Galaxy Ring will also be presented to the public for the first time.

This year, we’re showcasing our entire range at MWC. This demonstrates how our innovations make a better, smarter, more connected future possible,” says TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung.

A new era of mobile AI

Samsung will demonstrate, through everyday scenarios, how the AI capabilities of the Galaxy S24 series stimulate communication and creativity. With Live Translate[2], it is possible to perform real-time two-way translations during phone calls, thanks to the AI built into the device itself. Circle to Search with Google[3] introduces new ways of searching and discovering. With Note Assist[4], complex texts are simplified and organized. Generative Edit[5] capabilities will also be showcased on the stand, enabling users to more easily adjust the size of objects or people in photos for greater creative freedom.

Samsung has also set up an area where visitors can discover the powerful performance of the Galaxy S24 series camera. The area is designed like a dimly lit concert hall where close-ups can be taken of objects placed on stage, demonstrating Nightography’s capabilities. Thanks to Galaxy’s AI-based ProVisual Engine[6], Nightography is now even more stable in low-light conditions.

These Galaxy AI features will soon be available on previous Galaxy models, including the Galaxy Z Fold5, the Z Flip5, the Tab S9 and the Galaxy S23 series, including the S23 FE[7]. Visitors to the stand will be able to discover the new functional Galaxy Book4 series, which will be launched worldwide from February 26. Samsung is demonstrating, through the connection features on Galaxy devices, how users can increase their productivity more easily than ever, for example by easily transferring photos and videos between the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Book4 and Galaxy Tab S9.

Connected AI healthcare experiences

Samsung will also be showcasing its smart health portfolio at MWC, offering users personalized health experiences through AI. As part of this portfolio, the Galaxy Ring will be unveiled, a new tool that supports healthier living via the Samsung Health connected digital wellness platform.

In addition, Samsung is showcasing its new smart health services. My Vitality Score[8 ] offers personal health insights based on factors such as sleep, activity, heart rate and its variability. Booster Card[9] improves health on a daily basis by following predefined goals and providing actionable insights. Visitors can see the benefits of these features on the Galaxy Watch 6 series paired with the Galaxy S24, before they become publicly available later this year.

Through the SmartThings ecosystem, Samsung is showing how the home can become a place for healthier living[10]. Connected lamps can switch on and off automatically for optimal sleep[11]. Reminders to take medication can also be easily set. It also allows users to track their workouts, measure heart rate and calories burned while watching a fitness video on a connected TV.

The Samsung Galaxy Experience stand at MWC 2024 is located in Hall 3 of the Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
