Season 2 of The First Descendant is now available!

Players can now discover many new features in Season 2: Void Chaser, including:

• Holiday festivities– The festive season has arrived in Albion! The city has been decked out in festive decorations, setting the scene for unforgettable festivities. Players can enjoy the magic of the festive season, and find holiday-themed skins, cosmetics and emotes in the store to personalize their gameplay experience.

• Vacation events (rewards galore) – Players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the spirit of the holiday season with The First Descendant‘s seasonal events, which are all opportunities to earn exclusive rewards:

1. Winter Festival Attendance Event

• • Players will be able to start Season 2 with a special gift! Those logging on for the first time during the season will receive Legatee exchange tokens, allowing them to unlock the Legatee of their choice.

• • By logging in 14 times during Season 2, players will receive special exchange tokens which they can exchange for a box of research materials for Bunny Ultime (to unlock Bunny Ultime) or a box of cosmetic supplies for Season 2.

• • In addition, the Winter Festival login event offers various rewards, including tokens to upgrade Legatee items.

2. Anaïs Winter Festival event

• • This event immerses players in a series of single-player and co-op missions available from the start of Season 2. By completing these missions, they will receive valuable items to improve their character and weapons, enabling them to increase the power of their Legate.

3. Legatee New Year Event

• • Special missions are planned to celebrate the festive season. By completing these challenges, players will obtain unique customization items, including the ‘Fellow’s festive holiday’ skin and back accessory.

• New Legate: Keelan – A member of the H.O.U.N.D., a reconnaissance unit specializing in Void Ship operations, Keelan joins the fight in Albion. This new Legate possesses toxic abilities as well as a multi-purpose displacement skill that cuts through enemies.

• New dungeon: Ship of the Void – An unidentified abandoned ship has been discovered in the depths of the Void. In this new dungeon, a fearsome boss named ‘Dread Armor Commando’ awaits players. Not only is he imposing in size, but his weapons evolve with each phase: he goes from one handgun and one shield to two melee weapons, then two handguns. The Void Ship is available on normal and hard difficulty, and defeating ‘Dread Armor’ will allow players to obtain Keelan research materials as well as a new companion, Fellow.

• New Archaeo Companion – Restored from the genetic material of the Void Ship, this familiar life form comes from the Ancients. Offering a range of combat support, this season’s new Companion is also customizable and always ready for a little petting.

• New Sharen quest – After failing to assassinate the cyborg Vulgus and becoming an Archaeo-animated corpse, players can begin to uncover the secrets of Sharen and her sworn enemy through a variety of new quests.

• New Sharen Ultimate – Players are invited to exploit Sharen Ultimate’s enhanced skills: Illuminating Dagger projects daggers in a 360-degree radius for devastating effect, while Active Camouflage increases movement speed, reduces skill cooldowns and resets Active Camouflage cooldown when an enemy is killed. In Ambush mode, Sharen Ultime can now avoid traps, making her the perfect element to evade enemy detection in Void Ships.

• New Ultimate weapon “The Hammer and Anvil” – Rather than an aiming function, the Hammer and Anvil allows you to switch from shooting mode to anvil mode. Pressing the aim button switches the weapon to Anvil mode and launches an explosive projectile that explodes after a certain time, releasing marbles in all directions.

• New Ultimate weapon “Voltia” – The Voltia ray gun, available free with the Season 2 Combat Pass, exploits the electric current discharge technology used in Bunny’s suit, emitting energy that causes chain damage to enemies surrounding the initial target. Unique among firearms, Voltia can break through anti-Neant shields, which are usually destroyed only by skills, making it incredibly valuable in Void Ship missions.
