Today, SQUARE ENIX® launches SAGA EMERALD BEYOND, the new episode in the legendary SaGa series, on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5 (PS5®) and PlayStation®4 (PS4®), PC (STEAM®)* as well as iOS and Android** devices. SAGA EMERALD BEYOND brings together the best elements of this cult franchise, including its free-form scenario system and strategic combat, allowing each player to enjoy their own unique gameplay experience.

SAGA EMERALD BEYOND brings together the RPG franchise’s core elements of combat and free-form storytelling to deliver the ultimate experience for SaGa fans and those who have never played before. Players will find combat rich in strategy, a diverse cast of characters with compelling backstories, a storyline that evolves according to their choices, and much more. The new SaGa marks the return of franchise icons such as creator Akitoshi Kawazu, composer Kenji Ito and illustrator Satoshi Kuramochi. Those interested in SAGA EMERALD BEYOND can still download the three exclusive demos for Nintendo Switch, PS5/PS4 and PC respectively. Each allows you to play through several hours of the story of one of the three characters on offer, and gives a glimpse of the content of the full version of the game and its complete set of characters. Save data from the demo can be transferred to the full version of the game on the corresponding platform.
