Shoes, a new cosmetic item, are coming to Fortnite on November 22! On the program: realistic and original shoes that players can add to their outfit for a new look.
OPEN THE SHOE BOX
Introduced in Passe Remix, the iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” will be available from November 22! On the same day, new shoes will also be presented in their own section of the boutique, with new styles released regularly.
The first four releases will include Nike shoes, such as the Nike Shox R4 “Comet Red” and the Nike Cortez Leather OG ; Jordan shoes such as the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement-Gray” and the Air Jordan 11 “Black/Gym Red”; and Fortnite originals will make their debut with Chewing Slippers.
COMPATIBILITY
at launch, the shoes can be equipped with over 500 existing outfits, with over 95% of outfits expected to be compatible by spring 2025.
When purchasing a new pair of shoes in the store, players will be able to click on the new shoe usage button on the product page to see which outfits in their locker are compatible with. Players will also be able to filter the outfits they have in the locker to display only those that are usable with the shoes. They will also be able to visit the outfit and shoe compatibility page in Fortnite, which contains the full list of currently compatible outfits.
The arrival of the shoes will be marked by a free universal “Show ‘Em Off” emoticon. Players will be able to visit the store between November 22 at 1am and December 2 at 1am to pick it up for 0 V-Bucks.
