Bandai Namco Europe has announced the upcoming release of SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream, the first large-scale multiplayer adventure in the Sword Art Online series. The game will be released in 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Steam. Fans can already sign up for the closed beta, which begins in March.
In SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream, a new system is applied to the world of Alfheim Online, but a malfunction causes worlds and timelines to collide, creating a unique and dangerous environment for Kirito and other players. In this unfamiliar territory, missing characters will resurface and old enemies will have to forge unlikely alliances to survive.
SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream offers an original story in a game centered on a large-scale cooperative multiplayer experience. Players will be able to embody their favorite characters from the first three seasons of the Sword Art Online animated series and films in a multiplatform action game combining cooperative quests and boss raids.
A closed beta will take place from March 11 to 17. Fans can register on the official website until March 4 to take their first steps into the world of SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream.
