TEKKEN World Tour 2024 begins on April 13, 2024

The TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2024, the first global competition featuring TEKKEN 8, will kick off on April 13, 2024. Registration is now open on the TEKKEN esport portal.

Starting on April 20 at the Electric Clash 2024 in Ontario (Canada), players will be able to compete against each other in a bid to reach the top of the TEKKEN 8 rankings. The 2024 edition will feature two rankings, one global and one regional, which will be used to determine which players qualify for the final phase of the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2024.

In addition, new rules will be applied: Stage selection will still be random, and Special Style, a new way of playing specially developed for TEKKEN 8, will be allowed. Full rules and regulations are available at https://tekkenworldtour.com/.
The TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2024 will take place in 15 regions*, and players will be able to earn points to progress in each ranking according to the following criteria:

  • World ranking
    • Points for best MASTER performance
    • Points for best two MASTER performances
    • Points for best three performances CHALLENGER
    • Points for best four performances DOJO
  • Regional ranking
    • Points for the six best regional DOJO performances
