The Gentlebros and Kepler Interactive took advantage of the Nintendo Indie World Showcase to announce the release date for Cat Quest III: the 2.5 D open-world action RPG will set sail on August 8, 2024 on Nintendo Switch™. Cat Quest III will also cast off on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam) on the same day, which is also International Cat Day worldwide!

The vast marine expanses of the Cat-rabs are as beautiful as they are dangerous for apprentice pirates. Explore this picturesque archipelago and meet mysterious meowing characters on your quest to find the North Star: link dark caverns and mysterious dungeons on your extraordinary raft, whose majestic sails will make you proud. Don’t be afraid of the pirates that dot these paradisiacal lands: alone or in a cooperative pairing, you’ll make cat food out of them with your chatty cannons and their different types of ammunition.
A scalded cat doesn’t necessarily fear cold water: test your sea legs with the playable demo of Cat Quest III, available now on Nintendo Switch. Take your whiskers through the game’s first zones, stir up trouble on some tropical island and have a chat with some of the lively characters who roam this colourful universe.
