Warner Bros. Games today announced that MultiVersus, the free-to-play platform combat game featuring a cast of iconic characters, will officially release on May 28, 2024. MultiVersus will be available with a new PvE mode, more playable heroes and personalities, additional levels based on reimagined worlds and environments, unrivalled online play, enhanced visuals and much more. MultiVersus will be available as a free download on PlayStation®5 (PS5™) and PlayStation®4 consoles, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) with full cross-play and cross-progression support.
Developed by Player First Games, MultiVersus focuses on online cooperative play, complemented by an ever-expanding roster of popular characters based on Warner Bros. Discovery franchises, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and Black Adam (DC), Sammy and Velma(Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny, the Tasmanian Devil aka Taz and Marvin the Martian(Looney Tunes), Arya Stark(Game of Thrones), Tom & Jerry(Tom and Jerry), Finn the human and Jake the dog(Adventure Time), Steven Universe and Garnet(Steven Universe), the Iron Giant(The Iron Giant), LeBron James(Space Jam: New Era), Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith(Rick and Morty), Gizmo and Stripe(Gremlins), as well as an extraordinary original creature named Reindeer Dog.
