Warner Bros. Games has announced the official release of MultiVersus, the free-to-play platform fighting game, on PlayStation®5 (PS5™) and PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) with full cross-play and cross-progression support.
developed by Player First Games with production and game management support from Warner Bros. Games San Diego, MultiVersus features an ever-expanding roster of iconic characters from the Warner Bros. Discovery franchises. Starting today, new playable fighters such as DC super-villain The Joker, Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th horror series, andAdventure Time‘s Garde Banane arrive with Season 1: Puns & Villainy. Agent Smith, from the Matrix franchise, will join the adventure later in the season.
The release of MultiVersus is accompanied by an all-new PvE (Player vs. Environment) mode, called “Rifts”. This mode, full of twists and turns, offers another way of discovering the game, far removed from competitive PvP (Player vs. Player) battles. The game’s thrilling battles take place in multiple reinvented environments, including new maps inspired by the cartoons Dexter’s Laboratory and The Supers Nanas, available now.
