Xiaomi, a global leader in innovation, announces the release of its latest flagship smartphone range, the Xiaomi 14 series, at its launch conference in Barcelona. The announcement marks an important milestone in Xiaomi’s commitment to bringing new experiences to consumers around the world. At the event, William Lu, Partner and President of Xiaomi Corporation and President of Xiaomi’s International Business Department, unveiled his “Human X Car X Home” strategy, his new intelligent ecosystem. By formalizing their partnership in 2022, Xiaomi and Leica jointly revolutionized the mobile imaging industry. Xiaomi has continually redefined industry standards with each generation of products. The Xiaomi 14 series represents the pinnacle of this collaboration, integrating Leica Summilux optics. Xiaomi also presented the soon-to-be-released Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, Xiaomi Watch S3, Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro and Xiaomi Watch 2. Xiaomi 14 Ultra: The flagship for professional imaging, unrivalled performance and innovative design Inspired by the aesthetics of traditional cameras, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a distinctive circular camera module with a sleek, flat back. It is available in two classic colors: black and white.5 The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is designed around the Xiaomi Guardian structure, consisting of a tough aluminum frame, Xiaomi’s nanotechnological vegetable leather and Xiaomi Shield Glass. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with four professional lenses with a unique range of focal lengths, from 12 mm to 120 mm. The main camera, equipped with a continuously variable aperture ƒ/1.63-ƒ/4.0, enables exposure adjustment in a variety of scenarios. The integration of a 1-inch LYT-900 image sensor with a dynamic range of up to 14 EV guarantees unrivalled image quality, even in extreme conditions. Presented at the same time as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the Photography Kit is designed for photography and videography enthusiasts, offering advanced functionality with a dedicated handle and case. It includes a two-stage shutter button, a zoom control, a customizable video recording button and an additional custom dial. The kit also doubles as an external rechargeable battery, offering 1500mAh of autonomy. This accessory is available separately. Xiaomi 14: compact size, quality imaging, uncompromising experience With its compact design, the Xiaomi 14 boasts dimensions of just 152.8 mm x 71.5 mm x 8.20 mm.1 Its slightly curved back ensures a comfortable, secure grip even over long periods of use. To achieve a minimalist aesthetic, the speaker has been moved towards the screen and the infrared port towards the camera, giving it a streamlined design. The ultra-thin chassis design uses advanced FIAA technology to integrate the panel circuitry into the screen, resulting in a slim 1.71 mm bottom bezel for an immersive viewing experience.1 The Xiaomi 14 features a full three-camera configuration, offering a well-balanced photographic experience, covering a focal length ranging from 14 mm to 75 mm.
