LAS VEGAS, USA, January 3, 2023 – ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the ROG Azoth, the first 75% ROG wireless custom gaming keyboard with features typically found only on high-end DIY keyboards. The ROG Azoth incorporates a 2-inch OLED display that can show keyboard status, caps lock, connection mode and PC/Mac mode indicators. It can also display battery level, multimedia information, custom animations, and system settings such as CPU temperature. Intuitive settings and parameter adjustments can be made via the three-way control knob and one button. Uniquely designed mounting joint The mounting design of 10 silicone seals and a three-layer damping foam gives the ROG Azoth a slightly cushioned feel and sublime acoustics. A durable 3.5mm thick silicone pad inside the keyboard absorbs noise, while PORON® foam absorbs pings and echoes inside the keyboard. Plus, the silicone foam-covered base completely eliminates echoes and provides a flat surface. ROG NX mechanical switches The ROG NX mechanical switches used in the ROG Azoth feature pre-lubricated stems and base housings that provide a smoother click feel and eliminate spring bounce noises. The switches are hot-swappable for a unique, custom feel. ROG Keyboard Stabilizer The ROG Keyboard Stabilizer is pre-lubricated and designed specifically for gaming – it produces less friction, allowing long keys such as the space bar, shift key and enter key to stay true to the original feel of the switch. The key design has been optimized with medium height caps and a shorter stem to reduce key wobble and provide a more comfortable typing experience. Integrated lubrication kit The ROG Azoth is the perfect keyboard for those looking to get into DIY keyboard customization. The essentials included in the box are: a Krytox™ GPL-205-GD0 lubricant, three additional switches, keycap and switch pulls, a switch opener, and a switch lubrication rack. Triple Connectivity and other features ROG SpeedNova wireless technology provides up to 2,000+ hours of stable, uninterrupted play with near-zero latency in 2.4 GHz RF mode (with RGB and OLED disabled). Bluetooth® mode allows users to connect the ROG Azoth to three devices simultaneously. Gamers can also charge the Azoth while gaming using the wired USB mode. The ROG Azoth features two pairs of integrated non-slip pads that provide users with three angles of inclination for a comfortable typing position. In addition, the MacOS mode remaps the keys for Mac use. |
