Caged Element and PLAION are proud to announce Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks. This free-to-play, class-based multiplayer shooter and racer, blending Orks and the Warhammer 40,000 universe, is available to play in Alpha Playtest on Steam now.
Fans of speed and dakka can now live out their passion in Warhammer 40,000, driving dislocated vehicles and sending explosive bombs into a Speedwaaagh to the death.
Players can choose from a variety of vehicle classes, including damage tanks, support tanks and tanks with unique abilities that target a variety of play styles. They’ll drive you to victory across multiple maps, in this explosive game inspired by combat racing and shooter games.
For the Alpha phase starting today, the game introduces a limited number of vehicles and levels, as well as one of its game modes, the unique and hard-hitting Conquest mode, which culminates in a glorious sprint to the finish line. In this new version of the game, teams compete in their little cars to score points and fight for higher scores.

- 16-player matches, with a variety of vehicles to drive and richly decorated maps to compete on, no two matches end the same.
- Various classes, with 7 unique vehicles to drive, players can find the style of play that suits them.
- In Pursuit Mode, teams race as fast as possible to capture points and defend them from enemies. Convoy Mode (not playable during the Alpha phase) involves protecting your team’s convoy while attacking that of the opposing camp, and racing between the two to finish first. Both game modes offer unique, chaotic gameplay, emblematic of the Warhammer 40,000 fantasy universe.
