As player-characters begin to rectify the anomalies afflicting timelines in the company of a particularly determined Chromie, the future is fast approaching. Dragonflight‘s next update, 10.1.7, will soon be available on the Public Test Realm (PTR) and will include:
MAIN QUEST EXTENSION AND CAMPAIGN PROLOGUE
- Subsequent chapters of ongoing stories will be available to give a glimpse of what’s in store later this year, in update 10.2.
- Players will also discover new chapters in the quest suite Reforging the Guard of Tyr.
- Finally, it will be possible to play quests featuring the Bronze Draconic Flight and touching on its incursions into timelines during the events of Temporal Fractures (10.1.5)!
DAWN OF INFINITY – HEROIC MODE
- The Infinite Draconic Flight, long-time foe of the Bronze Dragons, has worked hard to achieve its ultimate goal: to bring about the transformation of Nozdormu, the Aspect of Time, into Murozond.
- This mega-dungeon, which features eight bosses and is only available in Mythic mode, will be split into two heroic dungeons where you can join the queue.
NEW PUBLIC OBJECTIVES: Mascarêves
- Various existing Dragonflight zones will be harmonized with the Dream; because of this, a special currency can be obtained from all their rare creatures and expeditions. This currency can be used to activate zone-wide upgrades and to activate Awakened Dream invasion events, reminiscent of Temporal Rifts.
- Equipment tokens similar to those obtained on Forbidden Confine rare creatures can be obtained on Dream-affected rare creatures, making them an excellent source of equipment for secondary characters, new players and those returning to the game.
NEW CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS
- A series of new customization options will be offered to players, including :
- ancestral armor and a suite of quests giving access to it for Night Elves and Reprobates;
- in addition to the new ancestral armor, new facial and body tattoos will be offered to Night Elf player-characters, and new skin colors will be made available to Forsaken player-characters.
