Here is a non-exhaustive list of the new features planned for 6.5x updates:
Update 6.5 – early October 2023
- New epic quests (Part1 ): the first part of the final chapter of the Endwalker™expansion will bring the final conclusion to the bitter struggle against the threat of the thirteenth reflection.
- New instanced dungeon : « Lunatic Abyss », the new pitfall-laden instance, will test the endurance of every Warrior of Light.
- New challenge: adventurers will face off against Zeromus in a decisive confrontation in this brand-new challenge on normal and extreme difficulty.
- New unreal challenge: this new version of the confrontation with Thordan will take place in the Singularity Reactor (unreal).
- New series of alliance raids – The Eorzean Myth : the future of the human race is at stake in this latest installment of the saga. The most daring will have to go deep into the divine realm and tread the soil of « Thalie » to solve the ultimate riddle of the Twelve.
- Reinforcement system (update): the reinforcement system will be extended to the following instances: « The Sunken City of Skalla », « The Escarre » and « The Darkness of Ghimlyt ». Players will thus be able to use single-player mode in all epic dungeons from A Realm Reborn to Endwalker.

- PvP updates:
- Season 5 of « Serial Thresholds » will begin with Update 6.5.
- Updates will be made to the « Crystalline Conflict » compass and interface. A new arena will also be available to players.
- Please note that there will be no new season of « Crystalline Conflict » with the release of Update 6.5. Season 8 will start on Tuesday, August 08, 2023, with Update 6.48, and continue with Update 6.51.
- Island Bliss (update): the development of this new little corner of paradise will continue, with the possibility of installing garden furniture, as well as the arrival of new development objectives, bliss rows, seedlings to plant and animals to raise.
- Other additions: update 6.5 will include new special orders with Margrat, a revised electrolysis function, as well as an updated fishing log and personal chest.
Update 6.51 release date: end of October 2023
- New saga of legendary tools – Tools of Wonders: the improvement of these incredible tools born of the unlikely collaboration between the Hall of the Just and the legendary blacksmith Grenoldt will continue, to the delight of seasoned craftsmen.
- New branching dungeon – Aloalo Island : this instanced content is designed to be completed solo or in teams of up to 4 players, with a difficulty level adapted to the number of participants.
- New alternative dungeon – Aloalo Island : this type of high-difficulty instance for teams of 4 players remains very similar to the branching dungeon, but features a predefined route. Alternative dungeons will feature two difficulty levels, « normal » and « sadistic », with very specific rules and characteristics.
Update 6.55 release date: mid-January 2024
- New epic quests (part2 ): the second part of the final chapter of the epic will bring the Endwalker™expansion to a close, paving the way for even more thrilling new adventures.
- Allied tribe quests: the Last Reminiscences will be transformed into a racetrack for the duration of an interstellar hippochar race, to the delight of all driving enthusiasts.
- New side quests: Tataru’s Tarufacture is sure to be the talk of the town.
- New side quests: the gentleman detective continues his incredible adventures in the eponymous « Hildibrand, the Return » quest series.
- New legendary weapons saga – Armes des Manderville: Godbert Manderville, Eorzea’s most accomplished silversmith, will be sparing no elbow grease to sublimate the Manderville weapons, the legacy of his illustrious ancestor.
Updates 6.5x
- Collaboration with Fall Guys: players will be invited to take to the wild rides of the Blunderdome, a new exclusive attraction at the Gold Saucer. Watch your step!
