RESPAWN
So here I am, attending a presentation of chewing gum made in Razer: Respawn. But why? The presentation explains that the gamer likes to snack while playing and … it’s a truth. So Razer launches Respawn to fill this gap in their range. A chewing gum without sugar and other crap added with three flavors.
All in a packaging allowing to do everything with one hand. The particularity will come especially that Respawn are black to remind the original brand and stand out from the crowd. On the taste side, we are on pomegranate and watermelon, exotic and mint To have them, try all three, watermelon is for me a master class … The proof… I don’t have any more…(If you read me at Razer… 😉 )
The Basilisk V3 PRO and its base of the future.
After a moment of laughter around Respawn. Here is the heart of the matter, the Basilisk V3 Pro. A fully programmable mouse with 11 buttons. But also a 30K Razer Focus Pro optical sensor, so for me it would be a total blast to have such a high sensitivity. On the switch side, we are on 3rd generation Razertrade which will resist to 90 million clicks with an anti-bounce avoiding double clicks which are still too present on many current high-end mice. The icing on the cake, the mouse is fully compatible with Nvidia Reflex for even more responsiveness.
The other special feature of the mouse is that it has an adjustable wheel with three modes. Whether you want to have notch by notch with great resistance or just be able to feel the blackmail, it is possible. The third mode will be in the total release of the wheel in order to simulate a scroll on the phone and thus not have to turn it a thousand times.
For the rest, we are sure of the totally programmable via Synapse with 13 programmable leds. Personally, I like the fact that the mouse weighs 112 grams and is totally portable. Because yes, I’m one of those people who don’t like mice that weigh 3 grams. The mouse is also programmable in its connectivity, Bluetooth classic or other it can connect to everything.
But also has the right to a dongle allowing a Hyperspeed connectivity reducing the delay to the minimum possible. The top is especially that it will easily last 90H in this mode.
The recharge of the future.
Last product presented is the charging cradle, the mouse had in the past a rather old-fashioned cradle with an obligation to place the mouse well. Here, it is finished! The new magnetizable cradle will offer you with a piece to place in your mouse in order to magnetize it with the cradle and thus no more problems of recharging.
The base and the piece in question are also of great interest for the future, because Razer announces that it will be compatible with all future releases.
BUT not only that, because you will also be able to charge your phone by induction with the same cradle.
Attention, another surprise, the base is also a hyperspeed dongle! Yes, the dock sold separately is not only for charging, but also becomes a hub for all your peripherals. A must have.
Finally, we leave this meeting with big expectations for the future and a desire to test this equipment that seems totally crazy. I’m a big FPS stereophile, the Basilisk V3 pro is the mouse I’ve always been waiting for. Its dock too! You can do everything with it and it’s great. But until we get the chance to test it all, we’ll wait with our Respawn!
