To wait for the release of METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER, METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 will be released in the fall of 2023 and will include the first three iconic installments in the METAL GEAR SOLID franchise
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today announced that METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is in production and will be released on PlayStation©5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam©. METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER will be a faithful remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, originally released in 2004 for PlayStation©2. This will allow a new generation of gamers and longtime fans to (re)discover the story of the famous Big Boss, and how his legend was forged during Operation Snake Eater. The remake will feature the original voice acting, storyline, combat and hostile environment survival mechanics, evolved with unprecedented graphics and immersive sound.

In order to wait for the release of the remake, players will have the opportunity to relive the first three installments of the Metal Gear Solid franchise through METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1. Fans will be able to infiltrate enemy strongholds around the world, complete stealth missions and enjoy the cinematic history of the METAL GEAR series.
Vol. 1 of the collection will contain the genesis of the METAL GEAR series in one compilation:
– Metal Gear Solid
– Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection version)
– Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection version)
