Bandai Namco Europe and Limbic Entertainment have announced their collaboration with mod.io to provide a space for cross-platform sharing of user-generated content (UGC) in the game Park Beyond. The mod.io platform will be integrated into the game in August 2023.

Mod.io is a cross-platform solution that already enables 150 games to offer user-generated content to other players, both on PC and consoles. Whether it’s complete parks, buildings or any other creations, players of Park Beyond players will be able to share and download other players’ creations directly in the game or through impossify.com.

« Historically, games like Park Beyond have had remarkable communities of creators. By collaborating with Bandai Namco Europe and Limbic Entertainment, our goal is to extend the reach of player-generated content to a wider audience on both PC and consoles. We are pleased to join Bandai Namco and Limbic Entertainment, and their community of creators, in making UGC integration universal, » said Scott Reismanis, CEO and co-founder of mod.io.

« The goal of Park Beyond is to give gamers the ability to make their dreams a reality. For Limbic Entertainment, those dreams are meant to be shared. Our goal is that as many people as possible can offer their most beautiful creations to the rest of the world. That’s why it seemed obvious to us to collaborate with a cross-platform solution for UGC sharing. Working with mod.io, which has a proven track record of working with many famous games, was an obvious choice, » said Lionel Lovisa, General Studio Manager at Limbic Entertainment.

In order to ensure a perfect quality of service, all mod.io features will be implemented in August 2023.

Crazy content created by the Park Beyond team will be added regularly to the game upon release, either through Season Pass DLC or free DLC. Starting in August 2023, players can expect an all-new decor theme, 3 new animators, pre-made elements and over 50 new decor items to make their parks even more unique.

In September, two new roller coaster creation modules will be integrated into the game, followed by the addition of scenarios this fall that introduce new challenges for the most experienced park managers. And, of course, the holiday season will bring a lot of free content, including pirates that can be expected to land in their parks.

In the meantime, new, unannounced content will be added to Park Beyond to keep players creative for hours.

Finally, after the closed beta in May that provided valuable feedback from players, Park Beyond will offer an open beta from June 7 to 16. This will be the last opportunity to try Park Beyond before its release and to get the golden Omnitrain, the bonus for participating in the beta.

Park Beyond will be available on June 16 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
