Moonlight Games and Dangen Entertainment bring us a little title called Hunt The Night. A title that places you at the center of a dark war between humans and monsters vying for control of various territories.

Vesper the Stalker…

The title places you in the shoes of Vesper, a member of The Stalkers, watch hunters who draw their strength from the powers of the night. What could be better than fighting evil with evil? Your story will take you to the land of MEdhrand. But despite your mission, you’ll be reminded that you’re the daughter of a traitor and that a curse hangs over you. A real vacation…

Hunt The Night offers gameplay that we love, both in its exploration and its fast-paced combat nervous system. With the help of all sorts of attack powers, ranged and tactical weapons and resources. It’s up to you to find your own style and master it to perfection.

You’ll also understand that day and night cycles are important to the adventure. The longer they last, the more corruption will be present and heavy. If some areas are calm at the start of the game, monsters will soon invade them, whether you like it or not.

On the D.A. side, Hunt The Night is an ultra-detailed, colorful pixel-art title. It’s a pleasure to explore the title’s universe, made up of a million little squares of color. Not to mention an ultra-pleasant soundtrack that fits every situation. All this adds up to a gripping title and atmosphere that’s hard to put down. Not to mention the spoiler-free storyline, in which you’ll discover more and more about your origins and how you’ll be central to the conflict.

All in all.

Hunt The Night is a small, dark, retro-style Zelda, as vast in its systems as in its story. You’ll enjoy every discovery, and wonder what’s coming around every corner. We can only recommend it with our eyes closed.
