Review – Theatrhythm Final Bar Line

35 years… 35 years that Final Fantasy accompanies us from year to year with all the musics which go with. And as much to say that level, the title offered us timeless hits. And what better way to listen to music while playing than to put in the hands of the players a rhythm game… And yes, Theatrhythm is back with new music ready to take all your free time.

Let’s push the song.

The title is above all a tribute to Final Fantasy more than the rest. Because other RPGs will be present, but later and in the form of DLC purchasable. Because the title is focused on FF from Origins to 15 (FF7 Remake too)
If at the base the title was on 3DS and was played with a stylus. Its adaptation the controller was a great success. If you think that the title focuses on 15 games, in reality, there are no less than 46 games expected in the end in this rhythm game ready to take your time and your ears. Because to overcome all the levels of difficulty in all the modes of the 385 musics. It will take time. You can also count on 27 more tracks on the Deluxe version… And 90 more tunes to come in DLC… The title will never end.
In addition to offering all the hits, the title also offers a timeline in each game offering a mini adventure in music of the game you have chosen. To do this, you’ll have to build your dream team, level them up, choose skills and equipment for them.
The title keeps an RPG aspect without pushing it too much in order to give a challenging aspect to each music.
Finally, we won’t lie, there is little to say about the title. We will only regret that the music has been cut at times so as not to be too long. And this is perhaps my only frustration as the title ate up some of my days and nights without me noticing. If you like rhythm games and Final Fantasy: GO! Especially since Nier Automata is coming in DLC!
