Milan-Italy, August 21 ,2023 – Shattered Heaven is an Italian card game with role-playing and strategy mechanics set in a dark fantasy and post-apocalyptic universe. Currently available in Early Access on Steam Shattered Heaven, developed by Leonardo Productions, also author of the investigative visual novel Dry Drowning, and published by Leonardo Interactive, introduces a new mode that aims to enhance its main features, offering a purely arcade and gameplay-centric experience.
Shattered Heaven’s second Early Access update is now available free of charge and, in addition to the Roguelike Alpha mode, will provide access to the following additional content:
- A new progression system created specifically for this mode.
- New passive character skills specific to this mode.
- Three new end-of-dungeon bosses with new lethal mechanics.
- New team rewards, exclusive to this mode.
- A new type of bonus, RELICS, powerful items that benefit the whole group.
- New possibilities for confronting enemies.
- Events with radically different outcomes.
- Dynamic changes in exploration based on mode victories.
Roguelike mode, introduced in this update, is a particular type of gaming experience in which it will be possible to face a series of procedurally generated levels in which death will be final. The player will then be forced to restart the adventure, losing most of the resources acquired during the failed game. Progression through learning is thus favored, and a high difficulty level is also introduced, which will be a challenge for experienced players.
The early access launch of Shattered Heaven represents a unique opportunity for players to actively participate in its completion. Indeed, this second update represents a very important turning point in the game’s development, allowing it to enter full production. More than ever, the developers welcome feedback from users, allowing them to personally contribute to the completion of the final experience, which will be available in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese-Brazilian very soon.
