Square Enix announces Foamstars, a hot new multiplayer shooter for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4

Unveiled at the PlayStation Showcase, presented by Sony Interactive Entertainment, FOAMSTARS is Square Enix’s new four-on-four shooter for PlayStation®5 (PS5™) and PlayStation®4 (PS4™). In the announcement trailer, several of the game’s colorful characters are seen battling it out in arena foam battles.

In this game, moss is the most valuable resource. There are different ways to use it: create slippery surfaces that players can surf on to move quickly; shape the terrain to defend against enemy attacks or to gain an advantageous position and eliminate opponents; and finally, drown the opposing team in foam and win the match.

The FOAMSTARS development team will soon reveal more details about the game.
