NIS America is proud to announce today that The Caligula Effect 2 will be released on PlayStation 5 in thefall of 2023.
The virtual doll Regret has created the world of Redo, a simulation in which people are trapped in a false reality. In order to escape, a group of high school students who have become aware of this, decide to form the Go-Home Club to fight Regret’s reign and return to the real world.
About the game:
A virtual doll named « Regret » decides to create the world of « Redo », to save the inhabitants burdened by their former regrets by imprisoning them in this simulation without their knowledge. However, this « paradise » is turned upside down by the appearance of a virtual idol named χ who manages to interfere in the world created by Regret in order to restore the forgotten memories of the real world to the trapped students. In order to escape from Redo, the students form the « Go-Home Club », a group of resistance fighters who will fight against Regret and his hired killers: the « Obbligato Musicians ».
