SNK CORPORATION today announced that Shingo Yabuki, the first DLC character in The King of Fighters XV Season 2, will be available on January 17 along with upgrades for all fighters in the existing roster. More DLC characters are also revealed.
Shingo Yabuki is a young man fascinated by Kyo Kusanagi’s strength, so much so that he heavily insisted that he become his martial arts master. Kyo, on the other hand, considers Shingo as a passive assistant, and treats him as such. Shingo manages to win Kyo’s approval and progresses little by little. He is very much appreciated for his teenage approach to life.
More DLC characters will join Shingo in KOF XV this year. Kim Kaphwan will appear in the spring, while Sylvie Paula, Najd and two unannounced fighters will arrive this summer. A special Fighter Pass will also be available for purchase that includes all six Season 2 characters, including Shingo Yabuki.
In addition to Season 2, an update will bring improvements to all characters in the roster. Fifteen tracks from previous KOF titles will also be added for free to the DJ STATION, which allows players to customize music for matches. More tracks will be added in the future.
