The spaceship adventure simulation Jumplight Odyssey will be released in Early Access on August 21!

League of Geeks, developer of the acclaimed independent strategy title Armello and the upcoming Solium Infernum, has announced that Jumplight Odyssey will be released in early access on Steam on August 21. The space colony simulation, inspired by genre classics and 70s sci-fi anime, celebrates the announcement of its release date with a new trailer. The Jumplight Odyssey demo was one of the most played at the last Steam Next Fest, and is still available.

Jumplight Odyssey takes players on a unique space adventure with Princess Euphora, commander of the spaceship « SDF Catalina« . Join her as she sails through star systems in an attempt to escape Admiral Voltan and the dangerous Zutopans, in search of the legendary Forever Star, a mythical new home on the other side of the galaxy.

Players will have to manage resources, define their leadership style and make crucial decisions to keep hope alive aboard the SDF ship Catalina. Assign tasks to crew members and their various divisions, such as science, engineering, combat and supply. Dispatch pilots to collect resources, rescue new members to expand the crew and defend the ship from surprise ambushes by Zutopans, who relentlessly pursue you across the galaxy.

Immerse yourself in a dynamic space society on the SDF Catalina, witness emerging stories and help deepen relationships between crew members. Customize and expand Catalina’s decks, and experiment with different layouts within the incredible cross-sections. Use starlight, a crucial resource that allows the Catalina to leap to new star systems to escape the relentless pursuit of the Zutopans.

Jumplight Odyssey will be available on Steam Early Access from August 21, 2023, in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified and traditional). PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned after early access.
