From August 18th to 21st, the Tiki-Theater – Walibi’s amphitheater – will be transformed into a temple of E-Sport! During 4 days, visitors of the park will be able to meet, watch and even challenge more than 20 professional players and famous streamers during exciting live sessions of Fortnite, Rocket League, Trackmania and Fifa.
At the same time, a 1,500 m² Gaming Center will host a multitude of activities related to the world of video games. Walibi Gaming is the must-see video game and E-Sports event of the summer! In 2019, Fortnite fans had already been able to attend two evenings organized in the Tiki-Theater with live sessions of the game in the presence of E-Sport stars.
Some participants from the public had even been selected to challenge the pro players on stage! This year, the Walibi Gaming event will last twice as long, four days from August 18 to 21, including two night sessions with the park open until 10pm (Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August). For this second edition, the offer will also be extended with live sessions of more games and a brand new Gaming Center!
More live sessions at the Tiki-Theater
For four consecutive days, the Tiki-Theater will be transformed into an impressive E-Sports arena! More than 20 stars of the competitive and streaming E-Sports scene will take turns to compete against randomly selected visitors from the audience in exciting live sessions on Fortnite, Rocket League, Trackmania and Fifa For this new edition, the exclusive Walibi Gaming ‘Play with the stars’ show, allowing participants from the public to compete on stage against the pros, will be in two parts.
A quiz on the game, in which those who have registered beforehand will be able to participate, will allow a first selection of the biggest fans of the game. In a second step, a draw will be made among those who will have answered correctly to the quiz questions, their nicknames will be displayed on the stage screens and they will receive a notification on their phone allowing them to play with the stars Among the most famous players and streamers, have confirmed their participation: Skyyart, Jolavanille, Nikof, Andilex, Noward, AztraL, Atow, Gwen, AF5, Gen1us and many others.
To participate in this unique gaming and E-Sport event in Belgium, visitors will have to buy an entrance fee to the park but all activities will be accessible at no extra cost For the shows and tournaments in the Tiki-Theater, you have to book your place for free online. But to challenge the pros on stage and try to win a place on stage, you will have to register online to participate in the quiz and the draw.

Rocket League: Walibi Gaming will offer the third edition of the Rocket League competition, the 100% Belgian tournament, which will take place on August 19th .The qualifications will be played online on August 12th and 13th starting at 7pm, a team can only register for one of the two dates. The winners of the first round will play the semi-finals on August 14th from 7pm. The qualifiers for the grand final will play their matches in front of the Walibi Gaming audience on the Tiki-Theatre stage in the heart of the famous theme park. A prize of 2000 € will be to win, distributed to different participants to allow the greatest number to win a prize. They will even have the opportunity to meet famous players such as AztraL, Atow, Breezi and Kaydop! Rocket Frites is a 3v3 tournament in Footcar mode, in the arena ‘Stade DHF’, all levels from Bronze to Super Sonic Legend, cross platforms reserved to Belgians or inhabitants of Belgium

Fifa : A big tournament with 2000 € of prizes to win is organized by Walibi Gaming with a final played on stage in front of the public and streamed. The tournament is open to everyone with four online qualifications that will take place on August 10, 12, 13 and 17 at 1pm. Up to 128 players will be able to compete for one of the four spots per qualification. The 16 finalists, accompanied by one person, will be invited to Walibi Gaming on August 21st to participate in the tournament but will also be able to enjoy the other Fifa animations and the park facilities

Versus Fighting: this kind of fighting game is still very popular, fast and spectacular, even for non-gamers. Each day, a tournament will allow 64 players to compete on the great classics such as Tekken and Street Fighter on PS4 and Super Smash Bros on Nintendo Switch. Specialized casters including Norman Gen1us will comment the tournament phases live from the zone. Many prizes will be up for grabs, with for Tekken a qualification to the tournament organized by the BESF ( Belgian Esports Federation) which will name the Belgian national representative who will carry the colors of our country to the 14th IESF World Championship in Bali, Indonesia in December.
