Developed for both PC and consoles, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin is the first RTS to bring the Mortal Realms of Games Workshop’s fantasy universe to life. The single-player campaign takes place in Ghur, the wild kingdom of beasts, and features a detachment of Storm Eternals attempting to seize a powerful artifact and save their fortress from the Kruleboyz Orruks invading the swamps

At the start of this story, the Eternals of the Storm venture into Ghur and, after a perilous journey, reach the location of this artifact. But it is held by the ethereal chains of the Hantenuits, servants of Nagash, who unleash a storm of Wraiths to defend it. The Hantenuits bring hordes of spectres and monsters to the Realms of Ruin battlefield, gaining the upper hand through sheer force of numbers. In addition to appearing as antagonists in the campaign, Hantenuits are playable in both Conquest mode and multiplayer, featuring a wide range of units inspired by their tabletop counterparts

In Conquest mode, players will face a variety of randomly-generated challenges to achieve the highest score, taking on individual 1-on-1 skirmishes on a larger map, before engaging in a final battle to complete each round. But not everything is as simple as it seems: new rules transform the conditions of conflict, such as drastically reducing squad vision, accelerating unit movement speed or imposing strict time limits to increase the level of difficulty. Players will have to make tough choices between increasing their bonus modifier or gaining extra lives as they battle on the field for the highest possible score. Each game in Conquest mode is based on a reference number that can be shared with other players
