Samsung today announced the worldwide launch of the new Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor (model G95SC), featuring advanced upscaling technologies via AI^.1 The new monitor builds on the success of last year’s Odyssey OLED G8 (model G85SB) and ushers in a new era of OLED gaming.

The new Odyssey OLED G9 has a size of 49 inches and a curvature of 1800R. It’s the first OLED monitor with Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5,120 x 1,440) resolution and a 32:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to its large size and screen width equivalent to two QHD screens side by side, you can completely immerse yourself in ultra-wide panoramas. And at the same time, thanks to its fast gray-to-gray (GtG) response time of 0.03 ms and 240 Hz refresh rate, you get the edge over other players.

The Odyssey OLED G9 stands out from other OLED gaming monitors thanks to the Neo Quantum Processor Pro. A deep learning algorithm intelligently analyzes images and automatically scales them to adjust brightness and increase contrast. This enables the monitor to recreate every detail and deliver the most stunning images, pixel by pixel.

AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro further enhances the incredibly smooth gameplay of the Odyssey OLED G9. Thanks to DisplayHDR™ True Black 400, the monitor displays incredible detail and vivid colors, no matter what game you’re playing or what content you’re watching.

The Odyssey OLED G9 features a slim design with an elegant metal frame. At the rear of the
monitor are advanced CoreSync and Core Lighting+ lighting technologies, which match the colors displayed on screen, offering even deeper immersion in content and bringing games to life. Integrated stereo speakers complement on-screen content with crystal-clear sound.

With the Odyssey OLED G9, you can watch your favorite programs from leading OTT (over-the-top) service providers without connecting to a PC or mobile device^.2 You can also discover and play partner games such as Xbox Game Pass and NVIDIA GeForce Now, all without downloading and without requiring storage space.

With the Multi View function, you can make the most of the widescreen by activating two different game windows simultaneously. This means that, as a gamer, you can now multi-task without having to worry about using multiple monitors.

The Odyssey OLED G9 is equipped with a host of practical features that guarantee an optimal gaming and viewing experience. Extensive connectivity options, such as HDMI 2.1 and Micro HDMI 2.1, Display Port 1.4 and Auto Source Switch+, enable cleaner connections from a centralized USB hub while delivering a smooth viewing experience, whatever the source. With its height-adjustable stand (HAS), you can define the perfect gaming or viewing position, whatever the content you’re playing.

To complete the OLED range, the Odyssey OLED G9 series also includes the G93SC model, which is available without the smart platform features, but still offers the same powerful OLED performance.
