Drivers will soon be able to discover even more ways to amplify their fame and gain reputation in Need for Speed™ Unbound. Volume 5*, launching on October 12, will feature new vehicles, liveries, outfits, customizations and more
Volume 5 features an updated Speed Pass, bringing 75 free levels with kaleidoscopic retro cosmetics and customization elements, as well as the ferocious Buick Grand National GNX (1987) for players who reach level 50. Players can also take on the challenge of making 25 near-miss collisions at the wheel of any BMW while being pursued by the police, to unlock the new BMW M2 Coupé turbo (2023) to show that the street is theirs
In addition, new premium content packs will be available in the store, including the terrifying “Trick or Street Swag Pack”, which brings to life the customized and legendary MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ’17, as well as a clothing pack, skeleton head mask, driving effect, exclusive horn, and much more*

- The 14 junctions: Players can take part in all 14 junctions from Volume 3 and Volume 4 and show the world they’re at the top of their game, competing in four rounds of epic stunts and heroic driving. The players who contribute the most will be crowned MVP at venues such as Yams Wind Farm, Marigold Golf Course and Jefferson Quarry.
- Updated Speed Pass: Volume 5 features an enhanced Speed Pass bringing 75 levels with free retro kaleidoscopic cosmetic and customization elements. Reach level 50 and take the stage in the Buick Grand National GNX (1987).
- New challenges: Take on the challenge of 25 near misses at the wheel of any BMW while being pursued by the police to unlock the new BMW M2 Coupe (2023). Players can prove their notoriety by taking on new daily, weekly and one-off challenges to earn EXP and increase their Bank.
- In-Game Store: Three new premium customization and cosmetics content packs, including new cars, cosmetic items, driving effects and more, will be available in the in-game store
- Need for Speed™ Unbound – Swag Trick or Street Pack: Available for €14.99, this premium pack contains the customized and legendary MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ’17, as well as an incredible range of classically designed artwork, inspired by the rubber hose style of the golden age of American animation. These designs are featured on a variety of items, including a clothing pack, skeleton head mask, steering effect, exclusive horn, and much more.
- Need for Speed™ Unbound – Customized and Legendary Volkswagen Beetle (1963) Pack: This pack is available for €9.99 and offers players the customized and legendary Volkswagen Beetle (1963) (custom bodykit and livery) and a 10-rank upgraded Speed Pass, which will reward them with 10 new cosmetic or customization items.
