Paradox Interactive today announced Life by You, which promises to be the most moddable and open-ended life simulator ever made. The game is in development at Paradox Tectonic Studio, based in Berkeley, California. In Life by You, players create humans and live their lives without loading screens. Paradox Tectonic is led by Rod Humble, a video game industry veteran known for his pioneering work in life simulation. Life by You will be available in early access starting September 12. Those who can’t wait can already pre-order the game today from theEpic Games Store for the suggested retail price of $39.99, or add it to their wish list on Steam.
Life by You allows players to live the lives of the humans they create in an open world where everything is customizable. Players create their own homes, build their houses and tell countless stories. With real language conversations and the ability to switch between camera angles, players will connect with their humans on an emotional level. A wide variety of creative tools and editors will allow players to customize every aspect of their experience, giving them the ability to live life to the fullest or break the rules as they see fit.
