SEGA announced today that the first additional content for Sonic Frontiers, « Landscapes, Sound and Speed, » will be released on Thursday, March 23 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and Steam. « Landscapes, Sound and Speed » is the first of three content updates planned for this year. It adds new features including a jukebox, photo mode as well as new challenge modes.

- New Challenge Modes: After completing the main story, you will be able to access new challenge modes, Cyberspace Challenge and Turbo Fight, via the title screen. Cyberspace Challenge is a time trial mode in which players must complete a series of cyberspace levels as quickly as possible. Also, Sonic Frontiers will also feature Turbo Fight, a timed mode where players fight multiple enemies in a row, such as guardians and titans.
- Photo Mode: To capture memories of your best moments on the Starfall Islands, you’ll be able to access the photo mode in the pause menu, which will bring up a camera.
- Jukebox: You can listen to your favorite Sonic music anywhere on the Starfall Islands with the new jukebox. 53 music tracks are available. You’ll have immediate access to 13 of them, and you can unlock the remaining 40 by collecting music souvenirs on each island.
